Payment Methods, Fees, & Policies

In the first section, Accepted Payments & Fees, you will find a list of the payment methods we accept, the type or medium in which that payment method is accepted, the processing fee for that method, as well as important notes regarding the aforementioned details.

If you scroll further you will find a second section titled Policies & Penalties. In this section you will discover a variety of policies. These policies cover everything from issues as benign as checking IDs for check or credit card payments, to more serious matters such as Collections Escalation and Demand Letter fees. For each policy there is a column that describes what that policy applies to, the associated fees (if any), as well as important notes that further enumerate key details about each policy.

ACH Bank Transfer Bank‑to‑bank (routing & account) 1% Typically clears in 1–3 business days.
Wire Transfer Domestic wire Flat $15 bank fee Sender’s bank may also charge them. We pass through our bank’s incoming wire fee.
Credit / Debit Cards Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover 3% Charged on the subtotal. Photo ID may be requested.
Cash App Business payment 3% Pay to $HandymanAndersonLLC. Pass‑through processing cost.
PayPal Online invoice 3.5% Send to michael@handymananderson.llc. Pass‑through processing cost.
Money Order USPS / bank / retail $25 bank‑trip fee Accepted only for invoices $500+. Requires teller deposit here. Fee covers time/travel. Waived only if our bank allows mobile deposit for that specific money‑order type (ask first).
Payment Plans Hardship‑only (discretionary) Free Up to 60 days, typically bi‑weekly installments. Approval required before scheduling; not automatic.

Policies & Penalties

Returned Payment (NSF / Rejected) Checks, ACH, Money Orders Bank return fee + $35 admin Replacement must be cash, cashier’s check, wire, or card. Photo ID may be requested.
Chargeback / Dispute (not our error) Cards, PayPal, Cash App Processor dispute fee + $35 admin Reprocessing fees apply to replacement payment.
Late Installment Payment Plans $35 late fee Bi‑weekly installments. 3‑day grace period. No interest by default.
Wire Corrections / Returns Incoming Wires Bank’s fee If our bank bills a correction/return, we pass through the bank’s fee.
Stop‑Payment / Reissue (client request) Any Method Bank/processor fee + $35 admin Applies when a client asks us to reverse, reissue, or alter a payment already in process.
ID Verification Cards & Checks $0 Photo ID may be requested at our discretion.
Demand Letter (Day 10 after missed due date) Past‑due accounts $75 administrative fee Formal demand sent and upstream notice may be provided (owner/PM/end client) as permitted. May precede mechanic’s lien filing and court action (Magistrate or higher), and may include theft of services referral if non‑payment continues.
Interest on Past‑Due Accounts (30+ days) All invoices with written terms Up to 1.5% per month Accrues until paid on balances 30+ days past due, computed from the invoice due date (Day 31), to the maximum extent permitted by Georgia law. If no written rate applies, Georgia’s default 7% per year may apply.
Collections Escalation (FM/Subcontracted Jobs) Facility‑maintenance primes/subs $0 (plus listed admin/bank/processor fees if applicable) After a missed due date: (a) Day‑10 $75 demand letter; (b) notice to owner/PM/end client per contract and law; (c) work suspension until cured; (d) mechanic’s lien and/or court action as warranted.
